Dhaka, May 25 -- City Bank announces the recent appointment of Md. Ashanur Rahman as the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the bank. Ashanur previously held the role of Chief Economist and Country Business Manager as a Senior Executive Vice President at the same bank.

With over 20 years of banking experience, Ashanur began his career at Mercantile Bank as Management Trainee Officer in 2004. He joined City Bank in 2008 during a key transformation phase. He played a vital role in overhauling the credit, legal, and recovery functions and established Risk Management Division in the bank.
