Dhaka, Jan. 29 -- Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has been awarded the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Certification, affirming the bank's commitment to ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, confidentiality, and integrity of its payment card operations, according to a press release Wednesday.

The certification was formally handed over to the bank's Managing Director and CEO, Farman R Chowdhury, by Suresh Dadlani, President of Certifying Authority Control Case, during a ceremony attended by senior officials.
