Dhaka, June 19 -- The floating LNG terminal in the Bay of Bengal could not be connected to the cargo ships due to adverse weather for the last two days.
Hence, the gas supply has been disrupted to areas under the jurisdiction of Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Ltd in Chattogram and Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC in Dhaka, as no offloading is taking place, officials say.
State owned company Petrobangla and Titas Gas aplogised over the incident in separate statements, reports bdnews24.com.
