Dhaka, Dec. 20 -- Dhaka University (DU) on Friday postponed its Science unit admission test, scheduled for today (Saturday), as a mark of respect following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi.

Saturday will be observed as a day of mourning at the DU, a press note says.

The revised schedule for the postponed examination will be announced later.

In addition, special prayer sessions seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of were held after Maghrib prayers on Friday at the central mosque of the university as well as at all mosques across the campus.
