Dhaka, Nov. 17 -- Mr. Mohammad Abul Hashem, Director of Bangladesh Bank, has joined as Administrator on 05 November 2025to supervise and manage the overall activities of Union Bank PLC.

In addition, Additional Directors of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Kazi Abdul Mannan, Mr. Md. Al-Mehedi Hasan and Joint Directors Mr. Md. Tariqul Islam and Mr. Sagar Hossain joined Union Bank on the same date as Associate Administrator.

After assuming the responsibility, the Administrator and Associate Administrators met with the senior executives, divisional and zonal heads and head of branches of the bank in a meeting for exchange of views.
