Dhaka, Nov. 28 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to launch an inquiry against Mohammad Ejaz, the Administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), over allegations of abuse of power, various irregularities, corruption, and taking bribes.
A senior ACC official confirmed the development to the media on Thursday.
To begin the inquiry, an officer concerned from the ACC sent a letter to the Director General of Investigation-1.
The letter states that there are allegations against DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz involving abuse of power, different irregularities, corruption, and taking bribes.
The letter instructed the authorities concerned to take necessary steps to investigate the allegations.
