Dhaka, Nov. 28 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will file a petition in the High Court to cancel the bail granted to Abdur Razzak, chairman of JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Ltd, in a graft case lodged for supplying poor quality masks, PPE, and other medical equipment to the government.

Talking to The Financial Express, ACC lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan said the Commission will submit the application on Sunday (tomorrow) to cancel the bail.

Earlier on October 15, Razzak was granted bail by a Dhaka court. He was sent to jail on Oct 8 after a five-day remand in the graft case. An ACC team arrested him from the capital on September 29. On the same day, the ACC Integrated District Office, Dhaka, lodged the lawsuit accusing Abdur Ra...
