Bangladesh, Nov. 14 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday launched an investigationinto graft allegations against former vice chancellor (VC) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) Professor Khondoker Nasiruddin.

The commission has appointed its director Sheikh Mohammad Fanafillah to probe the allegations in this regard, according to ACC sources.

On September 30, the BSMRSTU VC resigned from his post a day after University Grants Commission (UGC) probe body found evidence of irregularities and corruption against him.
