Bangladesh, Dec. 7 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Friday nabbed an official of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) red-handed with bribe money of Tk 0.1 million.

The detainee, HM Rashed Sarker, a licence inspector and consultant of CAAB, used to allow the examinees in the commercial pilot recruitment test in exchange for bribe without scrutinising their licences following due procedure.

Getting informed, a team from the ACC headquarters led by deputy director Masudur Rahman laid a trap to catch Mr Sarker while receiving bribe at a restaurant in the city's Uttara, said ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee.
