Dhaka, June 25 -- The oral tests for the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam, known as viva voce, will commence on Jul 8, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced.

A total of 585 candidates have been called for the first round of interviews -- 481 from the general cadre and 104 from the technical and professional cadres, the PSC said on Wednesday.

The interviews will run through Jul 15, reports bdnews24.com.

Candidates who passed the 45th written test but are also scheduled to sit the 46th written exam, the 47th BCS preliminary exam, or the 48th special BCS written exam will have their viva held either a month before or after those respective exams.
