Dhaka, Nov. 28 -- The United States has repatriated another group of Bangladeshi nationals, with 39 people arriving in Dhaka early Friday.
The returnees landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) around 5:30 am on a special US military flight.
Airport authorities facilitated their arrival, while BRAC provided immediate support, including transportation and emergency assistance.
Among the returnees, 26 are from Noakhali. In addition, two each hail from Cumilla, Sylhet, Feni and Lakshmipur, while one each is from Chattogram, Gazipur, Dhaka, Munshiganj and Narsingdi.
With this group, a total of 187 Bangladeshis have been sent back by US authorities so far this year.
