Dhaka, July 5 -- A total of 204 dengue positive patients were hospitalised across the country in the 24-hour period till Friday morning. As a result, the number of total dengue patients reached 11,660 this year.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) daily bulletin, of the latest cases, nearly half or 101 were hospitalised in Barishal division.

Besides, two city corporations of Dhaka - DSCC and DNCC - reported 57 cases, Dhaka division (excluding the two city corporation areas) reported 22, Mymensingh five, Chattogram nine, and Rajshahi Division reported 10 cases during the period.
