Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- To support and rehabilitate farmers impacted by the last July-August flash flood, the Ministry of Agriculture is disbursing incentives directly to farmers' preferred bKash accounts.

In addition to providing seeds and fertilizers, this incentive will help the affected farmers maintain the continuity of production, according to a media release.

The Ministry of Agriculture has decided to provide a one-thousand-taka incentive to flood-affected farmers through MFS channels.

Farmers can receive this incentive in their preferred MFS account.

Among them, 1 lakh 34 thousand farmers have chosen to receive the government incentive in their bKash accounts.
