India, Aug. 12 -- Panasonic has dropped two heavyweight contenders into India's mirrorless camera market with the launch of the LUMIX S1II and S1IIE, aiming squarely at professional shooters and content creators who want uncompromising photo and video performance. The release signals a clear push to close the gap between cinema-grade tools and portable hybrid cameras.

The LUMIX S1II, built around a new 24.1MP partially stacked full-frame CMOS sensor, delivers blistering 70fps blackout-free burst shooting and up to 15 stops of dynamic range in V-Log. It supports 5.8K 60p, 5.1K 60p, and 4K 120p recording, and can shoot Apple ProRes RAW HQ internally to CFexpress cards-no external recorder required.
