Dhaka, March 23 -- US-Bangla Airlines has announced restrictions on the usage of portable power banks in flight with social media posts across multiple platforms.

The largest private airline of the country said it will not allow passengers to charge power banks using onboard USB ports or to charge any other device using power banks onboard during flights.

The restriction came when several other carriers of national and international origin introduced similar regulations as cabin fire incidents due to the use of power banks have increased a lot recently.

However, unlike most other airlines, US-Bangla Airlines didn't inform about its regulations regarding the carriage of power banks.
