Dhaka, July 8 -- A United Airlines flight bound for India returned to Newark Liberty International Airport shortly after takeoff due to a malfunction in the electronic cooling system of its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
The crew of Flight UA82, operating from Newark to Mumbai, declared an emergency after detecting a failure in the aircraft's electronics cooling system.
Following standard safety protocols, the pilots returned to Newark, where the aircraft landed safely approximately two hours after departure. No injuries were reported.
