, Aug. 23 -- The Russian nuclear icebreaker '50 Let Pobedy' returned to the port of Murmansk, Russia, yesterday, August 22, after completing a 10-day North Pole expedition. Titled 'Icebreaker of Knowledge,' the sixth international Arctic expedition was organized to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry and the 500th anniversary of the exploration of the Northern Sea Route.

Organized with the support of the Rosatom State Corporation, the expedition team comprised 66 selected school students from 21 countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Turkiye, Bolivia, Kazakhstan, and China, among others. Abdullah Al Mahmud, a tenth-grade student from Rajshahi Cadet College, represented Bangladesh on the expedition.
