Dhaka, March 24 -- Malaysia Airlines has resumed services to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, the operator's 68th destination, with the inauguration of nonstop flights from Kuala Lumpur last Saturday.

The first flight, bearing code MH22, departed Kuala Lumpur at 23:45 local time on March 22 and arrived in Paris at 6:40 on the next day, as the airline stated in a release.

With its state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, the Malaysian flag carrier will operate four weekly flights from March 22 to 27 and increase the frequency to daily flights from March 29.

Flightradar24 data shows no other carrier currently operates a direct flight between the capitals of France and Malaysia, but the airline expects a strong demand for the route. The...
