Dhaka, Jan. 4 -- King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has accommodated more than 53.4 million passengers in 2025, the highest number for any Saudi Arabian airport in a year.

Apart from passenger traffic, the airport operated a total of 310,000 flights in 2025, including 2,968 freighter flights. The total number of baggage handled was 60.4 million, a 12% increase from 2024. Additionally, it processed 9.57 million bottles of Zamzam water.

The achievements have been highlighted as the airport's transformative development and its role as a regional hub and national gateway for the kingdom, underscoring its significance in facilitating the movement of visitors and pilgrims and promoting tourism in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
