Dhaka, May 29 -- IndiGo has become the first airline to launch commercial flight operations from the newly inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA).
Developed by Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, this collaboration between IndiGo and Adani Airports marks a significant milestone in strengthening India's expanding presence in the global aviation industry.
IndiGo plans to operate over 18 daily departures and 36 air traffic movements (ATMs) from NMIA, connecting passengers to more than 15 destinations across the country.
The airline has ambitious plans to scale up these operations significantly. By the beginning of November 2025, IndiGo aims to operate 79 daily departures (158 ATMs), including 14 international flights.
