Dhaka, July 2 -- Indian carrier IndiGo today inaugurated its first ever, direct long-haul service connecting Mumbai, India and Manchester, United Kingdom.

The service, to be operated by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, will run three times a week.

Flight 6E 0031 will fly from Mumbai to Manchester on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Manchester-Mumbai flight, 6E 0032, will return on the same days.

This new direct connection will significantly enhance accessibility between Mumbai, India's financial capital, and Manchester, a major economic and cultural hub in Northern England.
