Dhaka, May 21 -- India's largest airline by market share, IndiGo, has announced the launch of direct flights between Madurai and Abu Dhabi, starting June 13 this year.

With this addition, Madurai becomes the 16th Indian city to be directly connected to the UAE capital by IndiGo.

This announcement follows the recent launch of direct flights from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam to Abu Dhabi.

The new Madurai flights will run three times a week, making international travel easier and more affordable for Indian travellers in the UAE heading home.
