New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- The number of technical glitches reported by Indian airlines has declined over the past three years, according to official data released on Feb 3.

From January 2024 to January 2025, 273 glitches were recorded across 1,069,680 flights. In 2023, airlines reported 390 technical issues for 1,194,777 flights, down from 723 glitches in 2022, when 997,041 flights were operated.

Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said the data available for the last three years (2022-2024) shows there was a decrease in the number of technical glitches reported by the airlines.
