Dhaka, May 26 -- Heavy rains, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, lashed Mumbai on Monday (May 26) morning, throwing normal life out of gear.

The thunderstorms seriously impacted the flight operations for Mumbai airport. Issuing a travel advisory, Air India on Monday asked passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
