Dhaka, July 7 -- A Thai Lion Air flight bound for Bangkok was forced to return to the parking bay shortly after pushback from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport due to a technical issue, according to airport officials.

Flight TLM 242 was carrying 130 passengers and seven crew members when the snag was detected. The aircraft had just begun taxiing when the crew reported a problem and requested to return.

All passengers were safely deplaned, and no injuries were reported. Technical teams were deployed to inspect the aircraft.

Flaps in an aircraft are very important during both take-off and landing, an official said.
