Dubai, Feb. 10 -- Dubai-based carrier flydubai unveiled the first look at its new multimillion-dollar flight training centre on Friday. The airline's Chairman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, toured the state-of-the-art facility, which is set to officially open in the coming weeks.

The new 38,000-square-foot Flight Training Centre boasts six simulator bays and is capable of accommodating over 43,000 training hours annually. flydubai had announced plans for the centre during the 2023 Dubai Airshow.

Back then, the airline said the facility would cost $56 million to build.
