Dhaka, Sept. 11 -- According to the latest air traffic data from ACI Europe, passenger traffic at over 470 European airports increased by 3.1pc in July 2025 compared to the same month last year.
Despite this growth, the pace was slower than typical for the peak summer period, marking one of the weakest July performances on record when measured against pre-pandemic averages.
International travel continued to be the main driver, rising 3.7pc, while domestic passenger volumes remained nearly flat with a marginal increase of 0.7pc.
Overall, passenger numbers were still 5pc higher than in July 2019, indicating a sustained recovery, though with notable variations across different markets.
