Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- Etihad Airways has reported record-breaking traffic figures for August 2025, carrying over 2 million passengers in a single month for the first time in its history.

The UAE flag carrier welcomed 2.0 million guests during the month, representing a 22pc increase compared to August 2024. The passenger load factor rose to 91pc, up from 89pc a year earlier, highlighting both sustained demand and improved capacity utilisation.

From January through August 2025, Etihad has transported 14.2 million passengers-an 18pc year-on-year increase-while maintaining a strong average load factor of 88pc.
