Dhaka, July 17 -- A full emergency was declared at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) on Wednesday (July 16) night after an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Goa experienced a mid-air technical snag, prompting an emergency landing.
The flight, IndiGo 6E 6271, was operating an Airbus A320neo and was originally scheduled to land at Goa's Manohar International Airport.
However, as a precautionary measure, it was diverted to Mumbai after the snag was detected.
"Following the diversion of a Delhi-Goa flight due to a technical snag, a full emergency was declared at CSMIA at 21:35 hours on 16 July 2025," the airport said in a statement.
