Dhaka, Dec. 17 -- Dubai International Airport (DXB) expects December 28 to be its busiest day ever, with 312,000 passengers, surpassing the previous forecast peak of 309,000 on December 20, Dubai Airports said.

December 2025 is set to be the airport's busiest month in history, with forecasts of more than 8.7 million passengers.

Daily traffic is expected to exceed 300,000 throughout the month, as residents and visitors travel for the festive period. The surge highlights Dubai's popularity as a holiday destination.

Dubai Airports is coordinating with airlines, authorities, and service teams to manage the high volumes. Passengers should expect crowded terminals, longer check-in and security lines, and busy departure gates.
