Dhaka, Nov. 3 -- Flights were briefly suspended at Bremen airport in northern Germany on Sunday (Nov 2) after an unidentified drone was spotted flying nearby, police said, in the latest of several such incidents at German airports.

The drone was seen near the airport around 7:30 p.m. (1830 GMT), a police spokesperson said. Air traffic was halted for nearly an hour, and it was not immediately clear who was operating the drone.

AFP reported that the news agency was unable to reach Bremen Airport to confirm how many flights were affected.

The drone sighting was the latest to cause flight disruptions in Germany in recent weeks.
