Dhaka, Nov. 13 -- Cathay Pacific has launched a thrice-weekly seasonal service linking Hong Kong and Adelaide, reinstating a direct connection between the two cities to support travel, trade and cultural exchange between Asia and Australia.

Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau said the airline was "delighted to return to Adelaide," where it first began flying in 1992.

She described Adelaide as a dynamic South Australian city known for its food, wine and natural attractions.

The route is operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring fully flat beds in Business, spacious seats in Premium Economy and upgraded Economy cabins.
