Dhaka, March 22 -- Cathay cargo terminal becomes first Asian ground handler to achieve IATA's security management system (SeMS) Certification
The SeMS program offers a framework for managing regulatory compliance, security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Certified companies commit to continuously enhancing their security practices, focusing on risk-based, data-driven strategies to address both emerging and existing threats.
The handler said that it had achieved "operating status", which is the highest possible tier for a first-time SeMS certification.
