Dhaka, Dec. 3 -- Airbus' recall of about 6,000 A320 jets on 29 November 2025 has largely been resolved, with most aircraft now repaired and back in service.

The recall followed a 30 October incident in which a JetBlue A320 flying between the United States and Mexico suffered a sharp altitude drop and diverted to Tampa, injuring 15 passengers.

Investigators traced the problem to a software glitch in the onboard computer, caused by solar radiation corrupting elevation data.

Airbus said 6,000 aircraft required maintenance, though a two-hour software rollback fixed the issue on the majority.
