Srinagar: Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan visited Srinagar on Tuesday to assess the security arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to begin on July 3 and continue for 52 days.
Mohan chaired a high-level security review meeting at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). The meeting was attended by J&K Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, Lt Gen Prashant Srivastava (GOC 15 Corps), ADG (CID) Nitish Kumar, and senior officials from Central Armed Police Forces and intelligence agencies.
