Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on June 6, during which he will formally inaugurate the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL), a 272-kilometre-long strategic railway project that connects the Kashmir Valley with the rest of India.
The Prime Minister's day-long visit is part of the Centre's broader push to strengthen infrastructure and connectivity in the Union Territory.
