Ministry of Education issues SOPs for reopening of schools from October 15
India, Oct. 5 -- The Ministry of Education on Monday issued SOP/Guidelines for reopening of schools after October 15 during the Unlock 5 phase.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that state, union territory (UT) governments are allowed to take a decision regarding reopening of schools from October 15.
"Schools, allowed to, open must follow the guideline prepared by State/UT Education Departments based on SOP of DoSEL. The SOP/guidelines of DoSEL, @EduMinOfIndia comprises of two parts: I. Health, hygiene & safety ii. Learning with physical/social distancing," the Education Minister tweeted.
