India, Jan. 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday attached an immovable property belonging to a Pakistan-based terror handler in Poonch district as part of ongoing efforts to curb terror-related activities and dismantle their support networks.
Officials said the action was taken under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The attached property comprises about four marlas and two sarsai of agricultural land located at Village Nar in the Nakka Majhari area of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district.
According to police, the property belongs to Rafiq Nai alias Sultan, son of Mohammad Afsar, a resident of the area who is currently operating from Pakistan. He is described as a terror handler and launching commander...
