The Coalition for a GM-Free India on Thursday accused India's premier agricultural research body Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the Union Agriculture Ministry of "fabricating" trial data to promote what it called "unsafe and underperforming" genome-edited rice varieties.
