New Delhi, April 8 -- Delhi witnesses waterlogging across the city during monsoon every year leading to several deaths due to drowning and accidents, in order to address the long-standing issue, the Delhi government has introduced a new and advanced sewer-cleaning technology - the 'Recycler Machine'.
This advanced machine, brought from Mumbai, eliminates the need for manual sewer cleaning and is designed to speed up operations in the city's congested areas.
The Delhi water minister Parvesh Verma inspected the trial demonstration of this state-of-the-art recycler machine done at Delhi's Greater Kailash. This machine cleans the sewer by going deep inside it without sending any workers down into it.
