INDIA, March 21 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released the list of candidates for the assembly elections for the states of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

The party has released the list of 18 candidates- 6 names from Arunachal Pradesh and 12 from Sikkim.

For Arunachal Pradesh, it is the 2nd list for the remaining six seats, earlier BJP had already announced candidate list for 54 seats.

For Sikkim, it is the first list of 12 candidates for the 32-member assembly.

Both the states will go to polls to elect a new assembly on April 11. The Lok Sabha polls in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh will happen simultaneously with the assembly polls.
