New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Yotta Data Services has announced plans to deploy 20,736 liquid-cooled NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs to build one of Asia's largest AI superclusters. The deployment, valued at more than $2 billion, is scheduled to go live by August 2026.
The supercluster will use NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs and HGX B300 systems. As part of the expansion, NVIDIA will establish one of the largest DGX Cloud clusters in the Asia-Pacific region within Yotta's infrastructure under a four-year agreement worth over $1 billion. NVIDIA's DGX Cloud has already been operating on Yotta's GPU infrastructure for the past year.
The new cluster will integrate 800 Gbps NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, liquid-cooling systems, and more than 40 petabytes of parallel file-system storage. The infrastructure is designed to support large-scale foundation model training and high-volume inference workloads.
Yotta will also commit more than 10,000 Blackwell B300 GPUs from the cluster to India's government-backed IndiaAI Mission to support domestic research institutions, startups and public AI platforms.
The deployment will be housed at Yotta's 60 MW D2 data center in Greater Noida, which can scale to 250 MW. Additional capacity will be supported by its Navi Mumbai campus, scalable to 2 GW. The company said it plans to scale beyond 80,000 GPUs by FY27, with long-term capacity aimed at exceeding one million GPUs over the next three to five years.
Alongside infrastructure expansion, Yotta is integrating NVIDIA's Nemotron open models, NIM microservices and AI Enterprise software into its Shakti Studio platform to support enterprise and public-sector AI development within India.
Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder, MD & CEO, Yotta Data Services, added, "India's AI ambition requires sustained, high-performance compute at scale. By combining Blackwell Ultra infrastructure with open models like NVIDIA Nemotron and the full NVIDIA AI stack, we are enabling developers to build sovereign, globally competitive AI applications from India."
Jensen Huang, co-founder and CEO, NVIDIA, NVIDIA, said, "India is emerging as one of the world's most important AI markets, driven by extraordinary talent and a bold national vision. Yotta's deployment of one of the largest NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra superclusters creates advanced AI infrastructure capable of training frontier-scale models and delivering AI at population scale."
