New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- India's largest IT services firm (TCS) has partnered with Unilab Inc., a Philippines-based pharmaceutical company, to modernise its enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

TCS said in a statement on Thursday that it will oversee the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA on RISE with AWS cloud infrastructure, encompassing strategy, design, system implementation, data migration, and change management.

This transition aims to streamline Unilab's business processes, improve supply chain resilience, and enhance compliance through unified cloud platforms, said Sebastian Frederick Baquiran, President and CEO of Unilab.

Shiju Varghese, Country Head, TCS Philippines, added that this collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing digital capabilities within the healthcare sector and that the company will "support Unilab's strategic ambitions and contribute to improved healthcare access for the Filipino people".

TCS has been present in the Philippines since 2008 and recognised as a Top Employer there from 2017-2024. Earlier this month, it also announced a partnership with NOW Telecom to strengthen the country's digital and cloud infrastructure. The collaboration aims to focus on improving data security, building resilient systems against cyber threats, and maintaining sovereign control over critical infrastructure, with NOW Telecom deploying TCS's SovereignSecure Cloud.

Separately, TCS has reportedly leased 1.4 million sq ft of office space at 360 Business Park in Bengaluru for 15 years. The lease, one of the largest this year, involves a Rs.112 crore deposit, a monthly rent of Rs.9.31 crore, and a total rental payment exceeding Rs.2,000 crore over the term, including escalations.
