New Delhi, April 17 -- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a partnership with Vianai Systems to provide business leaders with new Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools aimed at improving decision-making. The collaboration will give TCS customers access to Vianai's hila Platform, a system that allows executives to interact with their enterprise data through natural language conversations.
The Human-Centered AI platform, Vianai Systems, was founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka in 2019.
The hila platform is designed to help leaders across finance, supply chain, and sales sectors ask questions and receive real-time insights from their data without needing technical expertise. TCS will tailor the platform to meet the specific needs of industries such as finance and will also offer integration with enterprise systems, ongoing support, and customised AI services. In addition, TCS plans to use the platform to enhance business functions such as customer relationship management, sales, and supply chain operations across other sectors.
K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TCS, said the partnership would make data more intuitive and accessible, helping businesses respond faster and lead with greater clarity. He added that integrating generative AI into business functions would reduce complexity and drive growth.
Vianai Systems' Founder and CEO, Vishal Sikka, said the partnership would allow enterprises to engage directly with their transactional data with speed, accuracy, and security, describing it as a step forward in AI-driven decision-making.
Siva Ganesan, Senior Vice President and Head of the AI and Data Business Unit at TCS, said that AI is becoming a board-level priority across customer functions, and the collaboration with Vianai would help clients interact with data in a transformative way.
TCS continues to focus on developing AI skills among enterprises and employees, offering a range of AI-led services and solutions. The company has also introduced a Responsible AI Framework to help businesses adopt AI in an ethical and safe manner.
On April 10, TCS reported lower-than-expected revenue for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25, citing continued weakness in the United States market. Despite missing expectations, the company posted a year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs.64,479 crore, compared to Rs.61,237 crore in the same period last year.
TCS said it was seeing growing momentum in the adoption of artificial intelligence, with areas such as IoT/DE, enterprise solutions, and AI.Cloud contributing most to the growth among its service lines.
For the full year FY25, TCS recorded a net profit of Rs.48,553 crore, marking a 5.76 per cent increase over the previous year. The company's total revenue for the year rose by 5.99 per cent to Rs.2,55,324 crore.
