New Delhi, May 20 -- Private sector bank Suryoday Small Finance Bank has partnered with technology service provider Finesse to automate its cybersecurity operations. As part of this collaboration, Finesse has implemented a Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform developed by the cybersecurity company Securaa.

The collaboration aims to replace the bank's earlier manual security processes with an automated system that improves the speed and efficiency of detecting and responding to cyber threats. The bank previously relied on manual methods, such as email-based alert handling, which created delays in identifying and addressing potential security risks.

Finesse's Cyberhub team led the implementation process after assessing the bank's security infrastructure. Based on the requirements, Securaa's Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered SOAR platform was selected to streamline incident response and automate key tasks. The platform integrates with the bank's existing security tools and enables real-time threat analysis and response.

With the new system in place, threat information is automatically analysed and acted upon, allowing the Security Operations Center (SOC) team to respond more quickly to potential incidents. This has led to reduced response times, more effective handling of cyber threats, and greater operational efficiency.

Securaa's platform uses AI to automate routine security tasks, such as identifying phishing attempts, blocking indicators of compromise, and addressing ransomware threats. By automating these processes, the SOC team is able to focus on more complex threat scenarios.

Gaurav Gupta, AVP -Sales, Finesse Global, said, "We are excited about this opportunity and will continue to work closely with Suryoday Bank to ensure this initiative meets its goals, thereby bringing exponential benefits to Suryoday Bank".

Rajesh Krishna, Founder & CEO, Securaa, said, "Our platform empowers SOC teams to focus on critical analysis while automating actions across use cases such as phishing detection, IOC blocking, and ransomware prevention. The successful deployment at Suryoday Bank highlights how intuitive, AI-powered playbooks can reduce response times from 48-72 hours to under a minute, ensuring a proactive and resilient cybersecurity posture".
