David Zakkam joins JioStar as head of analytics and data strategy

Broadcaster JioStar has appointed David Zakkam as senior vice president and head of analytics and data strategy, as the company doubles down on data-driven content, product, and monetisation initiatives. Zakkam will lead the digital analytics function and work closely with business, content marketing, and product and engineering teams. "The opportunity to shape how data and analytics fuel that journey was too compelling to pass up. I want to be leading the charge to turn data into a true strategic edge," he said in a LinkedIn post. Zakkam was previously Data Science Director at Uber, overseeing analytics for its Mobility and Delivery units in Bengaluru. He has also held senior roles at Meta, Swiggy, and Mu Sigma, leading teams of over 450 analysts and managing global client mandates. An IIT Delhi and IIM Calcutta alumnus, he brings more than two decades of experience in analytics-led digital businesses.

upGrad names Deepesh Dhakad Chief Product & Technology Officer

Edtech and skilling platform upGrad has appointed Deepesh Dhakad as its Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), effective October 2025. Dhakad will oversee global product development, engineering, design, and technology architecture across its consumer and enterprise verticals. His mandate includes scaling upGrad's digital learning stack, strengthening infrastructure for global expansion, and enhancing user experience through data-led experimentation and AI-driven product development. Dhakad has nearly 20 years of experience at Amazon, Flipkart, Unacademy, and Games24x7, where he led large cross-functional teams and built platforms serving millions of users. He is an alumnus of IIIT Allahabad and IIT Bombay's Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management.

Manoj Srivastava joins OneOrderOffer as Chief Digital & Information Officer

OneOrderOffer has named Manoj Srivastava as Chief Digital & Information Officer to drive its digital transformation agenda. With more than 30 years of experience across aviation, travel technology, and IT services, Srivastava will oversee innovation, enterprise modernization, and technology strategy. He has previously held leadership roles at EaseMyTrip, Lorhan IT, Airlines Technology, Mindtree, IBM, Paramount Airways, JetLite, and Delhi International Airport. Srivastava has led large-scale digital programmes, including PSS modernisation, OTA platforms, and NDC implementations, contributing to improved customer experience and operational efficiency across global aviation markets.

Adventz Group appoints Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj as Group Chief Digital Officer

The Adventz Group has appointed Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj as Group Chief Digital Officer to lead digital transformation across its diverse businesses in agri, engineering, real estate, infrastructure, and lifestyle. Dr. Selvaraj will drive the conglomerate's AI-led digital strategy, focusing on modernizing operations, building unified digital platforms, and accelerating innovation across business units. The National Urban Cooperative Finance & Development Corporation (NUCFDC) has appointed Milind Rajhans as Senior Vice President - IT. Rajhans will lead the corporation's technology strategy, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and modernize IT infrastructure for India's cooperative finance ecosystem. Rajhans brings over 25 years of experience in digital banking and cooperative technology. He has previously worked with Kiya.ai, A.P. Mahesh Coop Urban Bank, and Deogiri Nagari Sahakari Bank, driving IT blueprint design, data centre modernization, real-time core systems, and information security compliance. At Kiya.ai, he led sales for cooperative banking and supported digital transformation initiatives across the sector.
