IndusInd Bank names ex-Axis Bank exec Balaji N as CDO

IndusInd Bank has appointed Balaji Narayanamurthy as its Chief Data Officer to accelerate its AI-led and analytics-driven digital strategy. Narayanamurthy, who joins the lender's senior management team, has been tasked with crafting the bank's enterprise-wide data roadmap and embedding data-led decision-making across business lines, customer engagement and risk functions. He was previously President and Head of the Business Intelligence Unit and Enterprise AI at Axis Bank, and has held leadership roles at Capital One and Barclaycard in the US. An IIT Madras and IIM Lucknow alumnus, he brings over 25 years of experience across banking, technology and data science.

Umiya Buildcon appoints Prabhugouda Biradar as CTO

Umiya Buildcon has roped in Prabhugouda Biradar as Chief Technology Officer to drive innovation and strengthen R&D across its networking and real estate-focused businesses. Biradar will steer technology strategy with a focus on indigenous product development, including a Make in India-driven hardware and Network OS stack. With more than three decades of expertise across Network Operating Systems, distributed systems and telecom platforms, he has earlier led engineering at Philips, Cisco Systems and Huawei, besides mentoring startups in Causal AI and AdTech. IDfy appoints Tridib Mukherjee as Chief AI Officer

Digital identity and risk-management platform IDfy has appointed Tridib Mukherjee as its Chief AI Officer, underscoring its focus on building advanced AI for identity verification, fraud prevention and risk modelling. Mukherjee will spearhead AI strategy, core model development and tech capability expansion. He brings over 15 years of experience, 70+ research publications and 40+ patents, with previous leadership roles at Games24x7, Conduent Labs India and Xerox Research Center. A PhD with postdoctoral research from Arizona State University, he also worked at Intel, TCS and in academic research positions in the US.
