NTT DATA taps Bratin Saha to lead new AI subsidiary AIVista
NTT DATA has named Dr. Bratin Saha as CEO of its newly formed AI-focused subsidiary, NTT DATA AIVista, Inc., headquartered in Silicon Valley. Saha, a veteran of NVIDIA, AWS, and DigitalOcean, will spearhead strategy, operating models, and the development of AI-native services for global enterprises. With deep expertise spanning AI platforms, cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems, Saha previously led major AI and ML product portfolios at AWS-including SageMaker, Amazon Q and Bedrock-and drove platform and security innovation as CPTO at DigitalOcean. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
Thomas Cook India appoints Sachinkumar K Patel as VP-IT
Thomas Cook India has appointed Sachinkumar K Patel as Vice President - Information Technology. Patel brings over 20 years of experience across Cactus Communications, CMS IT Services, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Accenture and Steve & Barry's. He led cloud, security and enterprise modernisation programmes at Cactus, and previously managed nationwide delivery operations at CMS IT Services, including key assignments in Tokyo. Patel's earlier roles at Wipro, ICICI Bank and Accenture strengthened his capabilities across GIS programme management, digital transformation, risk management and large-scale tech operations.
GlobalLogic names Sumit Sood Chief Synergy and Transformation Officer
GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, has elevated Sumit Sood to the newly created role of Chief Synergy and Transformation Officer, effective December 1, 2025. Sood, formerly COO, will drive deeper collaboration with Hitachi under the "True One Hitachi" vision, leading the Synergy Business Unit to accelerate DX and integrated Agentic AI development across the group. He will continue steering GlobalLogic's AI transformation through VelocityAI, while retaining oversight of the CTO organisation, Practices and Data & Intelligence Engineering units. The company has also made key leadership appointments: Ethan Matyas as Chief Delivery Officer, Vishal Anand as COO, and Vikas Kaul as Chief People Officer.
Mphasis appoints Punit Sood as Independent Director
Mphasis has appointed veteran technology and financial services leader Punit Sood as an Independent Director for a five-year term beginning 11 December 2025, subject to shareholder approval. Sood currently serves on the boards of ICICI Bank and NPCI and brings over 36 years of global leadership experience. He has held CIO and senior tech roles across Citibank, GE Capital, United Technologies, JPMorgan Chase and NatWest, and has shaped GCC strategies for major financial institutions. A past chair of the NASSCOM GCC Council (2021-23) and current member (2023-25), he also advises global clients as an External Expert with BCG.
