
New Delhi, April 17 -- The week (April 12-18, 2023) was buzzing with several CXO movements in the tech industry, with some of the major appointments in key business positions. While mid-sized IT firms like Altimetrik, Ensono and Atlas Systems made important new appointments, non-tech firms such as Mahindra Holidays & Resorts, Union Bank of India, Licious and Danone appointed tech executives to lead some of their IT and digital affairs. Mahindra Holidays & Resorts appoints an Interim CTO
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts has appointed Vikas Srivastava as Interim CTO. Srivastava brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation, and will lead the company's technology vision and execution, aligning IT with business goals to enhance innovation and customer experience. He previously served as Head - Office of Enterprise Architecture at Mahindra Group and held leadership roles at Zensar Technologies, PNB MetLife, and other firms.
Anil Kuril gets new role as CISO at Union Bank of India
Anil Kuril has been promoted to CISO & Head of the Data Protection Office at Union Bank of India. Kuril, with over 16 years at the bank and nearly 30 in banking technology, will spearhead cybersecurity strategy and data protection. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer & CGM (IT, Digital & Analytics) and served on the boards of IBDIC and CERSAI India. Prior to Union Bank, he held senior IT roles at Punjab National Bank and Allahabad Bank.
Vijay Kannan joins Danone as VP-Digital Operations
Vijay Kannan has taken on the role of Vice President - Digital Operations at Danone, based in Paris. With over two decades of experience in global digital transformation across FMCG and energy sectors, Kannan will advance Danone's digital capabilities and operational excellence. He previously held senior leadership roles at Godrej Consumer Products, Shell, Unilever, and Asian Paints. He is also an Advisor and Mentor at Infilect.
Gaurav Mathur joins Licious as CTO
Gaurav Mathur has been named CTO at Licious. Mathur brings nearly two decades of leadership in technology innovation and digital transformation. He will drive Licious' technology vision, platform scalability, and strategic tech initiatives. Previously, Mathur held senior technology roles at HealthPlix, WhiteHat Jr., Flipkart, and Oracle.
Prozo elevates CTO Vaibhav Dhawan to a new role
Prozo, a full-stack supply chain company, has elevated its CTO Vaibhav Dhawan, to also assume the role of COO, effective April 1, 2025. Dhawan will unify Prozo's technology and operations strategy, enhancing agility and service quality. He has been instrumental in building Prozo's proprietary tech stack.
Ensono appoints Murali Inuguru to lead digital affairs
IT managed service provider Ensono announced the appointment of Murali Inuguru as Vice President - Digital & Consulting Services, Global AMS & Transformation Practice Leader. With nearly two decades of experience from Cognizant, Wipro and DXC Technology, Inuguru will establish and grow the global Mainframe Application Managed Services (AMS) & Transformation Practice and expand digital, modernisation and consulting capabilities in India.
Atlas Systems appoints Vivek Agarwal to lead data and AI
Atlas Systems has appointed Vivek Agarwal as Head of its Risk Management, Data and AI Business Unit. Agarwal brings over 30 years of experience in technology, risk management, and analytics, most recently leading Equifax's Product Engineering Centres. Prior to that, he was CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Technologies.
Rajeev Jain joins Altimetrik as COO
Rajeev Jain joins Altimetrik as Chief Operating Officer. Jain will be responsible for driving global operations and will report to CEO Raj Sundaresan. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President at LTIMindtree, with over three decades of global experience in delivery, operations, and enterprise transformation.
Moglix names Sanjeev Arora as its new CFO
Moglix has named Sanjeev Arora as its new CFO. Arora will lead the company's financial strategy and operations, with a focus on capital planning and preparations for entry into public markets. He brings over two decades of leadership across listed and privately held businesses, with experience at ASK Automotive, Mosaic, Goodyear, Nokia, and Apollo International.
