Infosys announces strong Q1FY26 results
Infosys, India's second-largest IT services exporter, announced strong Q1FY26 results driven by significant digital transformation deal wins, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI), with $3.8 billion in deals, 55% of which were net new.
The company reported revenue from operations of Rs.42,279 crore, a 7.54% increase YoY. Infosys raised the lower end of its FY26 revenue guidance to 1-3% from 0-3% while maintaining a margin guidance of 20-22%.
Consolidated net profit for the quarter rose 9% YoY to Rs.6,921 crore, with revenue from operations growing 8% YoY. CEO Salil Parekh attributed the performance to the company's AI capabilities, client consolidation success, and employee dedication.
Netrasemi plans advanced edge-AI SoC, market expansion
Kerala-based semiconductor firm Netrasemi on Thursday said it is planning to build four system-on-chip (SoC) variants with advanced AI and video analytics features into production.
In a bid to expand its capabilities, the startup has raised Rs.107 crore in a Series A round from Zoho Corporations and Unicorn India Ventures. Funds will bolster its R&D, expand manufacturing capabilities, and enhance marketing efforts to capture larger domestic and global market share.
The company added that the funds will help meet compute platform requirements of OEMs in surveillance, industrial robotics, and smart infrastructure. It has completed development of two SoC products currently in the tapeout stage, targeting TSMC's 12 nm technology node.
TVS Electronics launches infra managed services platform
Electronics solutions provider TVS Electronics has launched an AI-OPS infrastructure managed services (IMS) platform named TVSE aikya to help enterprises modernise and scale their IT infrastructure.
Built from the ground up, the platform includes services such as workplace services, hybrid cloud management, managed network services, and cybersecurity. It is available to mid to large enterprises for end-to-end IT lifecycle management. The IMS Capability Centre in Chennai will act as the operational hub.
HCLSoftware joins Indo-Swiss Innovation Platform
HCLSoftware, the software solutions arm of HCLTech, has partnered with the Swiss Network in India (Embassy of Switzerland, Swiss Business Hub India, and Swissnex) to join the Indo-Swiss Innovation Platform.
Part of the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), the platform fosters bilateral collaboration to strengthen digital infrastructure. HCLSoftware brings its Experience, Data, and Operations (XDO) Blueprint to support public sector modernization initiatives.
IBM launches Power11 Servers in India
IBM has launched its new Power11 servers in India, the latest addition to its Power line, with major contributions from its India Systems Development Lab (ISDL).
Power11 is designed for AI and business continuity. It targets enterprises with critical and data-intensive workloads, including banking, telecom, healthcare, and government. The servers support AI workloads at the data source and offer high reliability and flexibility in hybrid cloud environments.
